Ceremony: Hymn

Written by Angela, 24th Oct 2008

This is the second in a series of posts about the ceremony. If you’re attending, you might want to skip these posts to avoid spoiling the surprise on the day!

Tim has chosen the hymn “A New Commandment” which will be sung before we make our vows.

A new commandment I give unto you,
That you love one another as I have loved you,
That you love one another as I have loved you.

By this shall all men know that you are My disciples,
if you have love one for another.
By this shall all men know that you are My disciples,
if you have love one for another.

Based on John 13:34-35.
